Robert R. Chiossi is a writer who served an eight-year sentence at Northern State Prison in New Jersey. He was sentenced to 10 years for a robbery charge in 2012. He spent nearly two years in an assessment center and then a halfway house before being released six months early due to the pandemic crisis. He now attends Rutgers University where he writes for the Observer, covering vaccination developments in the community. He also interned with Princeton University in summer 2021. He writes horror and speculative fiction under the pen name Daemon Manx and is a member of the Horror Authors Guild. His fiction stories have been published in magazines in the U.S. and in the U.K. His debut novelette “Abigail” was released in July 2021 through Terror Tract Publishing. Robert currently lives with his sister and their narcoleptic cat in his home state of New Jersey.
