A pastel sunset glows through foliage over a beach

Time after time
I try to succeed;
Time after time
I fall to my knees.

Where is hope
When you can’t find light?
There seems no end
To this long, long fight.

And still I try
To find a way
To find some path
To a better place.

Many thanks
To those I meet
Who share with me
The things I need.

Family and friends
I count on them.
It is to you I send
My love in pen.
