The world that I live in is so full of color,
There should be peace and love, not war with each other.
No prejudice acts or bigoted minds,
If I could make peace I would with these lines.
With tentative thoughts so full of hate,
We don’t have the right to judge others, that’s why there’s heaven’s gate.
The world always changes and so does everyone I know,
Why can’t we change together, side by side, we can grow.
It shouldn’t matter if you’re black, white, brown, or tan,
You should always be there for those who need a hand.
It shouldn’t matter if your hair is straight, curly, wavy, or nappy,
It’s what’s on the inside that should make us happy.
