Unknown to the path that Mary Kay would take
But through her difficulties in prison she applied her self-respect
Self-determination adding to her recently discovered aspirations
Promising herself a difference she surely will make
Prison fellowship was the helping hand
Which came from a National Christian Prison Ministry
As the best idea and the perfect plan
The sacrifices that Mary made with the women that surrounded her
Holding the shampoo
Soap and other items wrapped in toilet paper
Given to the women as Christmas gifts
Compelled them to find that deep consideration
Unselfishness and lots of compassion toward blessing that one inmate
Or convict’s kid with just the right wish
Now with shadow Mountain men like David & Tom
And so many other supporters it’s truly a sight to see
Before this not known to anyone was
The origin of the angel tree
