An incarcerated woman feeds sardines to kittens in the prison yard

Late one evening I ventured outside of my prison cell with sardines in hand to feed to some stray kittens I had seen. I found out that the prison warden had placed cage traps around the prison to capture these newborn kittens. I want to rescue them by feeding them so they wouldn’t be hungry and get lured into the traps.

I was afraid they might be euthanized.
