A tear dripping off a chin

In a sea of thousands
Feeling like a single drop
Misunderstood, out on my own
Wondering when will it stop
Sitting by myself
I contemplate a lot
Am I wrong
Or is everyone around me wrong
March to my own beat
Or join the chorus song
Trying to execute my plan
I see the bigger picture
Trying to live a righteous life
Obey Quranic scriptures
Standing on principle
Can be a lonely stance
Surrounded by insanity
I feel it closing in
But I stay steadfast, determined
Knowing I will win
A solitary walk, internally motivated
Focused on the goal
Even though I’m isolated
