Austin Lukasik is the development manager for Prison Journalism Project. While attending Vassar College and captaining the men’s soccer team, Austin began his career as an intern, transcribing stories and helping to facilitate hundreds of messages and communication between our incarcerated writers and PJP staff every month. He now manages PJP’s membership program. Following his graduation, Austin continued playing soccer competitively, living with a semi-professional team in central Florida and playing in the USL2. Nowadays, you can find him running somewhere on the East Coast as he pursues an ultra-running career.
