Clare Hammoor is the director of learning at Prison Journalism Project.

Clare has taught at New York University and University of Denver, among other institutions, and given lectures and workshops internationally. Clare was most recently the director of pedagogy and performance for the University of Denver's Prison Arts Initiative, where he was also the executive managing editor for The Inside Report, Colorado’s statewide prison newspaper. Clare's passion for justice has led him to teach academic and arts-based courses in prisons for the past 12 years. He holds master's and doctorate degrees from New York University.
