Events & Celebrations

These are stories about events and celebrations inside prison. Although the extent to which holidays can be celebrated varies by institution, people inside find ways to celebrate special moments together through holiday feasts, called spreads and visits with family members. Some prisons also hold events, sometimes with special outside guests.
