Vocational Programs
A wide range of vocational training is offered to people inside. The RAND Corporation has found that those who participated in vocational programs were 43% less likely to return to prison. A cost-effective way to reduce recidivism, the programs that provide education in a trade — including welding, auto repair, cosmetology, data entry and even beekeeping — help prepare people for life after prison.
