The Prison Journalism Navigator is meant to be a shared resource for everyone. What we have included here is based on our own experience, but we are not making any claims that our way is the only way. Nor is this a complete guide.
We know many journalists out there are also working in this area, including those who have been doing this work for a lot longer than us.
