There will always be times when the clock stands still
Times when there’s too many emotions you feel
Times when in your mind Clouds fill the sky
Times when your eyes, on their own, cry.

You lay in your bed and wonder what’s next
How many days on your sentence are left
How many pains must accompany the quest
How many strains will require your strength.

Building resilience but I’ am tired of feeling this
Missin’ my family behind the fence
We gotta be STRONG cause someday we’ll be HOME
and tho it seemed long … it’ll all make sense.

I’ll never forget my Dad’s suicide
I choose to hold on even if I may cry
I miss him everyday and for him I choose life!
Depression & emotions are real
Never let anyone belittle the pain you feel
No One can tell you how to feel inside
Speaking to someone will help you through life.
Say something — You have value!
